Workshop–P.U.D. Regulations/Staff Processes and Procedures

A workshop will be held at Town Hall—7218 Nolensville Road–immediately following the Planning Commission meeting on February 13, 2018. Two topics of discussion will be: P.U.D. Regulations and Staff procedures/processes. Other topics may be discussed. The Board of Mayor and Aldermen and Planning Commission members will be present. P.U.D. Regulations Talking Points 1. Lot widths 2. Set Backs 3. Private roads in subdivisions 4. Turn lane requirements as well as turn and deceleration lanes 5. Placement of street trees with relation to sidewalks 6. Tree planting area requirements. New planting techniques 7. Standardizing curbs 8. Approval process. Review of steps for standard subdivision Vs. PUDS 9. Sketch plan Vs. concept plans 10. Review parking within PUD’s including inadequate visitor parking within PUD 11.
